RENOVATION

This was truly an extraordinary transformation. What began as an outdated home was completely reimagined through close collaboration between the client, interior designer (Concept_Luz), and the HKH Projects team. Together, we gutted the space, undertaking a full renovation from top to bottom.

The project included the removal of the asbestos roof, which was replaced with a sleek new diamond deck. We created a sense of openness in the living area by exposing the trusses, adding high volume and character. The walls were skimmed and freshly painted, while Cemcrete floors were installed throughout, except in the bedrooms.

Both bathrooms underwent a complete makeover, with floor-to-ceiling tiling and brand-new fittings. Outdoors, we extended the stoep and added a beautifully constructed pergola, creating the perfect setting for al fresco dining. This project was truly remarkable, transforming a house into a home where countless memories will be made.
